About: Steve Cumings leads an HP team focused on data center infrastructures and large-scale IT technologies. His responsibilities include defining portfolios for future data center products, delivering the new HP POD data center container, a powerful new form factor to deploy IT resources, as well as the HP Dynamic Smart Cooling product for drastically reducing customer data center power costs – both expanding HP’s overall capabilities in the data center.

In ten years with HP Steve has led multiple product and business activities for ISS, including most recently managing the options attach business for HP’s Industry Standard Server division. Prior to this he managed the ISS / AMD business, delivering HP’s Opteron-based ProLiant portfolio; directed business strategy and technology planning for the enterprise ProLiant team; and managed key ProLiant product families. In addition, Steve has been involved in key initiatives within HP including the HP/Compaq merger team, various pan-ESS business initiatives, and analysis and execution of new market and partnership opportunities.
