Game concepts can be used to increase engagement on the Web. In fact, some of the most successful social sites can be viewed as games themselves. As more and more users congregate concurrently to central networks, the sense of real-time presence and interaction becomes increasingly important. Forman will talk about how to design and employ some game concepts from presence status, to chat and general gaming.

at first i thought you were boring.
and then you made some good points
and then you said some really dumb things
and then I realized I wasn't bored
and I took some good notes.

you present with complete indifference - thanks

How do i get the speaker presentation files for htis conference?

This was the highlight of the conference for me, probably because the subject matter was pretty relevant. Charles was a bit obnoxious in his delivery, but he made some great points and I took 3 pages of notes (well, they were written on the back of the daily schedule, so whatever.)

Some concepts I hadn't really considered and a lot of useful tidbits. I think the only thing I'd like to have seen was some specific case studies based on ImInLikeWithYou.com -- which he didn't show at all during the session.

The delivery wasn't great, but it wasn't bad either, and the subject and concepts more than made up for it. Thanks Charles!

This is a hugely valuable topic, however the presenter tried to shock the audience into attention using juvenile methods and ultimately did the greatest injustice to himself - he closed the minds of others to his own material.
